Hi! Kahn Sagol Maccabi (“KSM” or “We“) values your privacy and wishes to let you, our Visitor, know how it handles your personal information.

This privacy policy explains which personal information is collected about you through the KSM Live website and how we use and process the personal information we collect.

KSM is committed to protect the privacy of your information. We endeavor to follow regulatory requirements with the understanding that providing a service and protecting privacy is one of the most important parts of the quality of the service provided on. 

We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We protect your privacy and your private data. We collect, process and use personal data in accordance with the content of this privacy policy and the applicable data protection laws.

In some cases, we require personal data from you, for example, when you send us an e-mail inquiry. This includes name, address, e-mail address and contact data. We only collect this information if you provide it yourself, for example by entering it in our online form for e-mail contact. 

We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. communication by e-mail) can be subject to security gaps. A complete protection of the data against access by third parties is not possible.

ii. What Does KSM Do?

KSM, the Maccabi Research and Innovation Center conducts innovative health research and provides health organizations across the globe actionable health data solutions. The KSM Live website allows our Visitors to learn about our groundbreaking projects, subscribe to our newsletter and apply to work with us.

iii. Children

The Platform is not directed to individuals under 16. Kahn Sagol Maccabi (KSM) does not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 16. If you are a parent of an individual under 16 and believe your child has provided personal information to Kahn Sagol Maccabi (KSM), please contact us.

iv. Data Processing on Our Website

1. Cookies

Kahn Sagol Maccabi (KSM) uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to run the website and carry out statistical analysis to offer you the best possible user experience. Additional cookies by our partners are in place to help us deliver more personalised and targeted content.

3. Newsletter

If you wish to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require an e-mail address from you. We use these data for the dispatch of the requested information and in some instances, for establishment of contact to better understand how to best assist you.

The processing of the data entered in the newsletter registration form takes place exclusively on the basis of your consent. You can revoke your consent to the storage of data at any time, for example via the “Unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations that have already taken place remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you have send to us for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and deleted after you cancel the newsletter. This does not affect data stored by us for other purposes.

4. Career  

When you select a job in our career section, you will be instructed to send an email with your CV. Please make sure you are aware of the applicable privacy policy before you submit personal information. Due to the potential risks on the network, we would like to recommend to you actions that you too can take, in order to ensure that your privacy is maintained and that information about you is not leaked – please refer to Article VI. KSM website contains links to other websites which are not maintained by KSM such as media, medical journals etc.  Once you click a link to another site, you are subject to the privacy policy of the new site. Similarly, other websites may contain links to this website. KSM is not responsible for the contents of those websites and shall not be liable for any damages or injury arising from the contents of those websites. Any links to other websites are provided as a convenience to you as a user of this website, and do not imply KSM’s endorsement of the linked websites or association with their operators. KSM disclaims all responsibility and liability for the use of linked websites, which are accessed and used at user’s own risk.

vi. Visiting an Official KSM Page on Third-Party Websites

KSM maintains accounts on third-party websites, such as social media sites, as tools to better interact with the public. The security and privacy policies of third-party websites apply to your activity on those sites. Users of third-party websites often share information with the general public, user community, and/or the third-party operating the website. You should review the privacy policies of all websites before using them and ensure that you understand how your information may be used. You should also adjust privacy settings of your account for any third-party website to match your preferences.

vii. Third Party Modules

a. Youtube

We have included YouTube videos on our website, which are stored on www.youtube.com and can be played directly from our website. These are all integrated in the “extended data protection mode”, i.e. no data about you as a user will be transmitted to YouTube if you do not play the videos. Only when you play the videos will data be transferred to YouTube. We have no influence on this data transfer. b. Google Analytics

Google Analytics is used on this website for the statistical evaluation of page visits. This is a web analysis service of Google Inc., which uses so-called “cookies”. As described above, these are text files which are stored on your computer and which enable an analysis of your use of the website.

The information generated by this text file about the use of our website is transferred to a Google server and stored there. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of our website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing website operators with information about website activity. If this is required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google, Google will also pass this information on to these third parties. This use takes place anonymously. c. Google Tag Manager

This website uses the Google Tag Manager. Google Tag Manager is a solution that allows marketers to manage website tags through a single interface. The Tag Manager tool itself (which implements the tags) is a cookie-free domain and does not collect any personally identifiable information. The tool triggers other tags that may themselves collect data. Google Tag Manager does not access this data. d. Facebook-Pixel

On our website we use the so-called “Facebook pixel” of the company “Facebook Inc.”. d. LinkedIn Insights

We use the LinkedIn Insight tag for this website. The LinkedIn Insight tag creates a LinkedIn “browser cookie” that collects the following information:

  • Timestamp,
  • Side activities,
  • demographic data of LinkedIn if the user is an active LinkedIn member.

This technology enables us to generate reports on the performance of our advertisements and information about website interaction. To do this, the LinkedIn Insight tag is embedded on this website, connecting to the LinkedIn server when you visit this website and are logged into your LinkedIn account at the same time.

We process your information to evaluate campaigns and collect information about website visitors who may have reached us through our campaigns on LinkedIn.

We implement industry standard security mechanisms to secure the information on the Website. These security mechanisms are designed to reduce the risks of unauthorized access into our databases. Therefore, we do not guarantee that the Platform will be completely immune from unauthorized access and misuse of the information stored on it.

Due to the potential risks on the network, we would like to recommend to you actions that you too can take, in order to ensure that your privacy is maintained and that information about you is not leaked:
